Randy Smith, CEO of Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union in Texas, shared his opinion on the direction of the corporate credit union system in the Credit Union Times.
“We are indeed looking for a way to stay with a corporate solution because we know from experience what can go wrong and I’m talking about events of the 70’s,” Smith said, referring to a third party, bank-owned vendor that “shut us out of share drafts trying to discriminate.”
What ways can natural person credit unions ensure a stable network of corporates to meet liquidity needs during financial crisis?
